Getting Started:What To Expect.

What to expect at your child’s first orthodontic visit.

Compassion First.

We know that a doctor’s office can be intimidating for a child. That is why we let them lead.

Our team is trained to read the room. If your child is excited, we match that energy. If they are nervous, we slow down. We have handled thousands of first visits, and our goal is always the same: to make your child feel safe, heard, and proud of their smile.

A plan built around  your family

01.

First Visit

We start with high-tech, low-stress data collection. We take 2D and 3D digital imaging and photos of your child's face and teeth. No gooey impressions, just quick, comfortable scans.

02.

Treatment Planning

Once we agree on a treatment plan for your child, and you are comfortable, our Treatment Coordinator will schedule future appointments and discuss financial arrangements with you, including your ideal payment plan.

03.

Treatment Begins

Depending on the type of treatment we have settled on for your child, the next step typically will be to create and place a custom-made orthodontic appliance. This could be a palatal expander, braces, or Invisalign aligners.

04.

Ongoing Treatment

Throughout treatment, we'll ask you to bring your child to our office periodically so that we can track his or her progress and make any required adjustments. We'll book your next appointment with us before you leave and will send reminders.

" I have three sons of my own so I know exactly what it feels like to walk into a new office with your child. You just want them to feel safe and have a good experience. That is why my first job is never about checking teeth. It is about earning their trust. We take the time to joke around and make them feel at home before we ever start the exam. If we can get them laughing in the first five minutes then the rest of the visit is easy. "
