Create a CustomTreatment Plan
Once the treatment goals are agreed upon, our orthodontist then maps your customized Invisalign treatment plan with timelines. We'll know exactly how much your teeth will move with each new set of aligners.

Begin Your TreatmentWith Invisalign
Your custom-made Invisalign clear aligners will be produced just for you. You will wear them each day, taking them out to brush, floss, eat and drink. Your teeth will move as treatment progresses.

Every 7 Days,Change Your Aligners
Every 7 days or so, following your treatment plan, you will switch to the next set of aligners. Approximately every six weeks, we'll book an appointment for you to check in briefly with your orthodontic team about your progress

Most comprehensive cases are completed in 12 to 18 months, though minor spacing or crowding issues can often be fixed in as little as 6 months. Your timeline depends entirely on the complexity of your bite and your compliance with wearing the aligners.
Attachments are tiny, tooth-colored bumps of composite material bonded to the front of specific teeth. They allow the plastic aligner to grip the tooth for rotation or vertical movement. Not every tooth needs one, but most comprehensive cases will require them to achieve a perfect result. They are polished off completely when treatment ends.
Invisalign is generally more comfortable than braces because there are no wires to poke you. However, you will feel pressure for the first 24–48 hours after switching to a new tray. This “tightness” is a good sign—it means the aligner is actively moving your teeth.
Don’t panic. Call our office immediately. Depending on where you are in your weekly cycle, we may have you move forward to the next tray or wear your previous one to hold the position while we order a replacement.
